wow

I can't believe i haven't posted in over a year. well, i guess we'll just have to start over. Hi, I'm amanda. My family is making some small sacrifices this year to pay off debt and build our business. We moved into a one bedroom apartment last year. I am going to post some before and after pics this week if i can figure out how too. LOL.
Right now the boys have half the bedroom and the office fills the other half. our bed is in the dinning room. I turned it into a bedroom with a privicy curtain. the bathroom is rather large for an apartment. the laundry area is also in there. the kitchen is very tiny with one ity bity drawer.
the new baby with be in the living room right next to us at night and then nap in the bedroom. wow, i have about 5 weeks to get this place ready. I'm due march 17th. stay tuned for pictures and maybe a video. God bless

appartment life

well, we are all moved into our one bedroom apartment. It is still a good size, about 780 square feet. The bed room is large enough for our 5 year old's twin bed and 2 year old's toddler bed, and all the toys! My husband will be making bunk beds in Dec. so we will have more floor space soon. the closet is a small walk in. It took a bit of rearranging and getting rid if clothes and rearranging to get it functional, but now it's almost done! The kitchen is small, but workable. the odd thing about it is, there are no drawers. I never realized how much stuff I put in drawers until now. WOW! So I had some Rubbermaid rolling carts with drawers and I am being creative with some baskets. It all seems to be working just fine! We got a Hide a bed, love seat table and 4 chairs a book shelf, lamp and microwave stand off Craig's list, all for $180. woo hoo! My husband and I sleep on the hide a bed in the living room. We left a lot of our bid furniture at our house. It just would not fit in a little apartment! Plus the girls that will be living at our home need something to sit on!

my husbands back!

Yea! my husband got back on the 14th. I am so happy to have him home. We have been busy seeing family and friends on the weekends, and working during the week. I was living about 3 hours from were he is stationed, so we have to move back there. We will be keeping our house and living in an apartments for the next year while some girls that just got of a Catholic youth ministry team will be living at our house, and we will be staying there on the weekends we come home. We haven't found an apartment yet, so we are staying with friends. I hope to move out soon, great hospitality, little room!

anyway, I won't be around, much for a little while. We have much to do! God Bless!
