Long Day

Wow, I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. I am so tired tonight, however I have a messy little home and house guest coming this weekend. However after the day I had, I really just need to go to bed and start over tomorrow.

Today was quite a day. I took William to the doctor this morning. I thought maybe his pink eye was back. (Yea no pink eye) I also went in for a bad sinus head ache. (Yuck a sinus infection) Williams’s appointment was at 9am and mine was at 10:15 however the receptionist said the doctor would see us at the same time. Well this was not the case; we ended up being there until almost 11am. The first hour William was a perfect angel. WE sat and read books, sang mommy and the rest of the office songs and were as happy as could be. The second hour was, well, not as pretty. A lot of screaming and wanting to run, run, run all over the doctor’s office.

By the time we got out the there and to the store to pick up a few things William was in a deep sleep. I decided not to wake him up and just go home a let him nap. We would go to the store later.

Well, this plan back fired. William slept well, woke up cheery at about 1:30pm
We went to the store and came home. This is where it gets good… About 5pm William was cranky, cranky, cranky and ready for a nap. Running around, pulling all the books off the shelf, yelling, falling on the floor and laughing for no other reason then slept resistance. I can’t put a 2 year old down for a nap that late, so… I let him stay up, or rather made him stay up. The rest of the evening was, well long. Finally it was 7pm and time for a bath, books, prayers and bed at 8pm. (Sigh)
