monday...again?

well, it's Monday morning. I am currently sitting on my couch listening to my 2 year old try to cry himself back to sleep? silly boy. He has been waking up about 6 or 6:30am since we got back from visiting my parents. It is driving me crazy. He use to wake up around 8am. that was lovely! Since we've been home, I don't know what's gotten into me, but I keep going in his room and sitting with him trying to talk to a half a sleep toddler. trying to reason with him that he should go back to sleep. Then I think, "tomorrow will be better" Ha! It's not going to get any better if I keep going in there. Why would he sleep any longer, his plan is working for him. I'm going in there and laying with him and he doesn't have to go back to sleep. Why do I do this?
Silly mom, listen to your own advice. He will be fine, let him cry, he's 2, he need his sleep. You know what's best for him!
